Located in central Greece, Meteora is one of the country’s most distinctive landscapes and a place I’ve long wanted to photograph. The region is defined by towering rock formations rising from the plain, with monasteries perched high above the valley and dramatic skies that constantly reshape the scene. The images below were captured from multiple viewpoints around Meteora, including roadside overlooks, and walking trails that wind through the rock pillars.
